Our October book of the month is The Structure of Second Corinthians: Paul’s Theology of Ministry by Kei Hiramatsu. Dr. Hiramatsu serves as New Testament Faculty at Central Bible College in Japan, specializing in the Pauline epistles. He is the first Japanese faculty member with a PhD in Biblical Studies at Central Bible College. In his new book, he explores the relationship between the literary structure of 2 Corinthians and Paul’s theological message. You can also read a poignant reflection by Kei from his 2017 InSights Essay, The Silence of God: Beyond Triumphalism. Kei and his wife Saki have three daughters: Hanaka, Kaho, and Rin.
