Dear Friends of ScholarLeaders,
It gives me great pleasure to announce that we have welcomed a new member to the ScholarLeaders team: Dr. Erin Barber, Director of Advancement. Erin will lead our fundraising efforts as we continue to cultivate theological leaders for the global Church and expand our reach through our new initiatives supporting women theologians, planning with executive leaders, and helping rebuild theological education in Ukraine.

Erin joins ScholarLeaders with nearly 25 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising. She has worked with a variety of organizations, including a domestic violence shelter, a community counseling center, and a health care organization serving the underinsured. Along the way, Erin has served in pre-K through 12th grade Christian education. She is thrilled to be returning to ministry in a Christian organization.ScholarLeaders’ longstanding investment in Majority World doctoral education taps into Erin’s passions. In fact, because of her commitment to fulfill her calling with all excellence, in 2018 Erin completed a doctorate in Policy, Planning, and Development at the University of Southern California, with a concentration in nonprofit leadership and management.
Obviously, Erin’s combination of experiences and academic qualifications would have made her a catch for a wide range of NGOs. But it was ScholarLeaders’ mission to serve the global Church that fired her imagination, because she recognizes that the Lord has called her into the work of fundraising in order to advance the Kingdom of God. Erin has already thrown herself into our work with abandon. We are thrilled that she has joined our team!
With gratitude for your ongoing partnership with ScholarLeaders,

Christopher M. Hays, President
