Meet the 2023 ThM Scholars.

Gifta Veronica

Gifta holds a Bachelors degree in English Literature from Bishop Heber College, India, and a Master of Divinity from Southern Asia Bible College, India. She serves as a Youth and Children’s Ministry coordinator and conducts Bible study classes at House of Prayer Church, Tamil Nadu, India. Giftas focus is Johannine literature, especially themes of suffering and glorification in the life of Jesus. She is passionate about contributing to theology by writing and translating books that can aid Bible college students and pastors. Additionally, she is driven to impact her community by presenting the Gospel more comprehensively.  

Sandy Samy

Sandy Samy is from Cairo, Egypt. She earned her Bachelor’s in Pharmaceutical Science from Ain Shams University in 2007. After ministering to young people for many years, she decided to study at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo, where she earned her MAT in 2020. She also earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the Ministry of Counseling and Christian Maturity in Egypt in 2018. As well as continuing to work as a pharmacist, Sandy serves ETSC as a Teaching Assistant for Introduction to New Testament and Greek courses. She is looking forward to studying the Gospels and the Second Temple Period. 

Pfokreni Enoni

Pfokreni holds an MDiv and a MACC (Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling). Currently she serves as Executive Associate at Oriental Theological Seminary, Nagaland, India. Her theological interests are exploring the theology of relationship for reconciliation.  

Chishamiso Evermary Nyabonda

Chishamiso is from Zimbabwe. She studied at Midlands State University in Gweru, Zimbabwe. She is now a Methodist minister for the church in Zimbabwe. She has served as the Bishop of Gweru District and is currently Hatfield Superintendent. Her passion is to know God and how people’s beliefs influence their lives.
